Erie Family Life offers two universal life plans. ERIEflex_SM is our traditional plan, while ERIEflex2_SM is designed for individuals who need larger amounts of protection. With either plan, cash values can be borrowed or withdrawn for emergencies or to take advantage of financial opportunities.

Interest Rates
Both plans credit a guaranteed minimum 4% interest rate for your lifetime.
Both plans earn a current interest rate if higher than the guaranteed minimum.^***

The Accelerated Benefit Rider is automatically included without cost on all ERIEflex and ERIEflex2 policies. This rider pays up to 50 percent of the death benefit (up to a maximum aggregate amount of $250,000) to any insured who is diagnosed as being terminally ill and expected to die within 12 months of diagnosis.

All interest credited to your ERIEflex_SM or ERIEflex2_SM policy accumulates tax-deferred and the death benefit paid to your beneficiary is federal income tax free. An annual report will keep you up-to-date on the performance of your policy.

^** In West Virginia, the minimum policy size is $25,001 for all ages.
^*** The current rate reflects market conditions and is subject to change. ERIEflex2 provides a higher interest rate than ERIEflex and includes an additional bonus rate when the net account value is at least $5,000.
