Back to School with Lookin’ Out(Erie, Pa.) Oct 3, 2008![]() Safety bug visits‚ seatbelt checks and mock crashes‚ those are just a few of the exciting activities Lookin’ Out clubs have planned for the 2008-09 school year. This year marks the ninth year Lookin’ Out has partnered Erie Insurance Agents with local high schools to promote safe driving habits among teenage drivers. Last year 72 schools across 10 states were awarded over $130,000 in Lookin’ Out grant funds to help make teens better drivers. As a leading auto insurer, Erie Insurance believes it is our responsibility to actively encourage teens to become safe, responsible drivers. That’s why we’ve initiated the Lookin’ Out program to make the roads safer for everyone. Lookin’ Out is unique because each activity is created by teens for their peers.
