File a Claim

• For personal contact, call your Erie Insurance agent or an ERIE office near you.
• If your claim happened after business hours or on a weekend and you would like to speak with a claims representative, call (800) 367-3743.
• To report an auto glass claim, call ERIEGlass^sm at (800) 552-ERIE (3743), 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Damage to a vehicle, except for glass, should be reported to your agent or local Erie Insurance office.
• To report an identity recovery claim, call ERIE's Identity Recovery hotline at 1-866-ERIENOW.

Warning: It is a crime to provide false or misleading information to an insurer for the purpose of defrauding the insurer or any other person. Penalties include imprisonment and/or fines. In addition, an insurer may deny insurance benefits if false information materially related to a claim wasprovided by the applicant.

Note: When contacting Erie Insurance to report a claim, please be advised that the company cannot provide advice or counsel policyholders on whether or not to file a claim. Erie Insurance is obligated to file the claim when contacted by a policyholder. Discussions about how the claim will impact your policy or questions about whether or not to file a claim should be directed to your Erie Insurance agent.
